I run gloss out of Utah, and we're opening in Arizona first. I picked the Valley because in-home aesthetics and mobile IV have taken off there faster than almost anywhere, with very little holding it together. Anyone can put up a booking link. Far fewer are checking who actually shows up at your door.
Here's the thing that convinced me to build it: Arizona's Board of Nursing requires a good faith exam and a written order from a nurse practitioner, PA or physician before a registered nurse can start anyIV therapy — including a plain hydration drip. Many operators here don't appear to know that. It isn't a technicality. It's the difference between a clinician who has assessed you and a stranger with a needle.
So gloss is onboarding nurse practitioners first, because Arizona grants NPs full practice authority — they can legally assess, order and treat independently. We verify the license against the issuing board and the insurance against the carrier before anyone becomes bookable. That is slower. It's also the only version of this business I'd let through my own front door.
One thing worth being precise about, because a lot of platforms are vague on it: gloss doesn't practise medicine. We're software. Every treatment is performed by an independent, licensed professional who carries their own license, their own insurance and — where their license requires one — their own ordering provider. What we do is check all of that before they can take a booking, and keep checking it. We are not your provider's medical director, and we don't pretend to be.
Where we operate: the company is based in Utah, and gloss providers currently see clients in Arizona. Salt Lake City is the next market we're opening and you can join the list — but a waitlist is a promise to email you, not a promise there's already someone we can send.

Every provider's license is checked against the issuing board and their malpractice insurance is verified before they can take a single booking. No exceptions, no 'pending' listings.
The law is the floor, not the ceiling
Arizona has real rules about who may inject you and who may start an IV. Much of the industry treats them as paperwork. We built the platform around them.
We say what we don't know
No invented reviews, no stock-photo providers, no ratings we haven't earned. If we can't deliver something yet, the site says so instead of taking your money.
