1. What gloss is

gloss is an online marketplace that connects clients with independent, licensed beauty, wellness, and medical-spa providers, and with salons and businesses. gloss is not a medical provider and does not practice medicine. All treatments are performed by independent licensed professionals who are solely responsible for the services they provide.

gloss provides the technology to discover providers, book appointments, process payments, and manage scheduling, reviews, and communications.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use gloss. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You may not use gloss for any unlawful purpose.

3. Bookings, deposits & payments

When you book, you authorize gloss's payment processor (Stripe) to charge the deposit shown at checkout to hold your appointment. The remaining balance is charged after the visit to the payment method on file. Prices, deposits, and any platform fees are displayed before you confirm.

Deposits are applied to your service total. Cancellations and reschedules are subject to the cancellation policy shown at booking; late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the deposit.

4. Providers & businesses

Providers and businesses are independent contractors, not employees or agents of gloss. They set their own services, prices, availability, and service area, and are responsible for maintaining valid licenses, insurance, and compliance with all applicable laws. gloss verifies submitted credentials but does not guarantee any provider's work, qualifications, or outcomes.

Providers pay the subscription and/or platform fees disclosed to them, retain their own client relationships, and agree to gloss's provider policies.

5. Memberships, credits & gift cards

Club gloss memberships bill on a recurring basis and add monthly credit ("Beauty Bank") to your account; credit has no cash value, is non-transferable, and is forfeited if your membership lapses except as required by law. Gift cards and referral credits are subject to their own terms shown at purchase or redemption.

6. Conduct & safety

You agree to treat providers and other users with respect, to provide a safe environment for in-home visits, and to answer safety and medical-intake questions truthfully. gloss may suspend or remove any account that violates these Terms, endangers a provider or client, or misuses the platform.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

gloss is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, gloss disclaims all warranties and is not liable for the acts, omissions, or services of independent providers, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes & contact
